Business Connectivity (Broadband/Fibre/Backup)

Business broadband is typically contended and “best effort”. A leased line is dedicated, symmetric, and often comes with stronger SLAs and guaranteed speeds.

Yes — availability depends on your postcode and local infrastructure. We can check options and recommend the best fit.

Yes — we can add a cellular backup circuit/router so you stay online if the main line fails, and prioritise voice and critical apps.

It depends. Some remote access, VPN, hosting, and certain security setups work better with static IPs. We’ll advise based on your use cases.

Standard broadband can be quicker; fibre builds and leased lines depend on site readiness and construction requirements. We’ll confirm lead times after checks.

A wayleave is permission from a landlord/freeholder to install infrastructure on private property. It’s sometimes required for new fibre/leased line installs.

Yes — we can supply and configure routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi (including guest networks and segmentation) depending on your needs.

Usually yes if the connection is stable. We can apply QoS and, where needed, recommend upgrades or a separate circuit for voice.

Yes — with the right router/firewall configuration we can prioritise real-time traffic to protect call quality and video meetings.

On certain products, yes (particularly leased lines and some business-grade services). We’ll detail the SLA options in your proposal.

Business Mobiles (All Networks)

Yes — we can supply across the major UK networks and recommend the best fit based on coverage, roaming needs, and commercial requirements.

Usually yes — we can port numbers with a planned date/time, and help coordinate handset/SIM swaps to minimise downtime.

Yes — eSIM availability depends on the network and device. We can advise on suitability and rollout approach.

Business plans typically include better billing/control options, pooled data, account management, and can be structured for fleets and governance.

Often yes — pooling options vary by network/tariff. We’ll recommend a plan that reduces overspend and improves fairness across the estate.

Yes — we can implement bars/controls (where supported), and provide reporting to manage costs, roaming, and out-of-policy usage.

Yes — we can supply devices, stage them for rollout if required, and support refresh cycles aligned to your policy and budget.

Yes — we can support BYOD policies where suitable and advise on security, compliance, and device management options.

We’ll advise on roaming bolt-ons and best practice based on destinations and usage, and help avoid bill shock with controls and policies.

Yes — with the right router and SIM plan, 4G/5G can act as primary or backup connectivity for sites, temporary locations, or resilience.

Getting Started (General)

A rough user count, site postcodes, what you’re trying to achieve (cost saving, resilience, remote working), your current provider/contract end date, and any key services (phone numbers, broadband type, mobiles, alarms/EPOS/lifts).

Yes — we can handle discovery, ordering, provisioning, number porting, install coordination, testing, user training, and ongoing support, with a named point of contact.

Yes — we support single sites through to multi-site organisations and can standardise services, call flows, billing, and reporting across locations.

It depends on what you’re deploying. Some services can be live in days (e.g., SIMs and cloud apps), while connectivity and number ports may take longer. We’ll confirm realistic lead times after a quick discovery.

Usually, yes. We can port most geographic and non-geographic numbers, and we’ll plan a cutover window to minimise disruption.

That’s common. We can help you identify active lines, circuits, mobile estates, and “hidden” services (alarms, lifts, card machines, door entry) and build a migration plan.

Yes — where needed (especially for fibre/leased line, Wi-Fi, or multi-site voice deployments). We’ll advise the best next step after initial questions.

The aim is minimal to none. We plan porting and cutovers carefully, often out of hours, and can provide temporary routing/failover where appropriate.

Yes — many customers consolidate into one managed service covering mobiles, connectivity, voice, and IT/security, with joined-up reporting and support.

You’ll have access to support plus an account contact. For larger projects, we also provide a project manager during delivery and structured handover.

IoT, M2M SIMs & Routers

It’s a SIM designed for devices rather than people — often used in routers, alarms, telemetry, remote monitoring, and connected equipment.

Common examples include 4G/5G routers, CCTV, vending, payment terminals (where supported), asset trackers, and industrial sensors/controllers.

Yes — we can supply and configure LTE/5G routers, including remote management options, failover settings, and security configurations.

In many cases, yes — depending on the solution. We can advise on the right setup for remote access, VPN, and monitoring requirements.

Yes — it’s a common use case. We can configure automatic failover so the site stays online when the main circuit fails.

We can help set thresholds/alerts and advise on data plans that match usage patterns, avoiding unexpected charges.

Yes — we can standardise router configs, SIM estates, and reporting across sites, making rollout and support simpler.

It can be — we can advise on APN/private networking options, VPNs, firewalling, and access controls depending on the deployment.

IoT SIMs are typically optimised for device use, estate management, resilience, and sometimes different roaming/usage behaviours compared to consumer SIMs.

Yes — for certain use cases we can provide IP/cellular alternatives, but each device (alarm/lift/entry) must be assessed for compliance and suitability.

IT Support, Infrastructure & Cyber

Yes — we can provide helpdesk, proactive monitoring, patching, and user/device support depending on the package and your environment.

Yes — we can complement internal IT with additional capacity, specialist skills, projects, or out-of-hours cover, with clear responsibilities agreed.

Yes — we can help with practical controls like MFA, endpoint protection, email security, and monitoring, based on your risk level and requirements.

Yes — we can design backup and recovery aligned to your business needs, including recovery time and recovery point expectations.

Yes — we can support user setup, security configuration, governance, and ongoing administration depending on the service scope.

Typically: discovery, documentation, access setup, baseline security checks, monitoring configuration (where applicable), and a handover pack.

For managed services, yes — we can monitor key systems and respond earlier to issues, depending on the agreed toolset and scope.

Yes — we can assess and improve LAN/Wi-Fi design, segmentation, performance, and security, including guest networks where needed.

We follow an agreed incident process: triage, containment, remediation, recovery, and recommendations to prevent repeat issues, aligned to your service scope.

Yes — we deliver projects (migrations, upgrades, security improvements, rollouts) and can also provide ongoing support afterwards if required.

Number Porting, DDI & Call Routing

Usually yes. We’ll confirm what can be ported, gather the required details, and schedule a port date that suits your business.

Timelines vary by number type and provider. Once we have the correct information, we’ll give you a realistic schedule and keep you updated.

Often yes — we can plan partial ports or staged migrations depending on your current setup and what the losing provider supports.

A Direct Dial-In number that routes straight to a person/extension/queue, rather than going through a main switchboard.

Yes — we can configure time-of-day routing, holiday schedules, out-of-hours messages, and overflow to mobiles or an answering service.

Yes — many platforms support call whisper (agent prompts) and reporting dashboards (answered/missed, queue time, abandonment).

CLI is caller ID. We can usually present a chosen outbound CLI (e.g., main number) while still receiving inbound calls to DDIs.

Yes — temporary diverts or routing can reduce downtime risk during transition, especially around porting windows.

Often yes — we can discuss options for geographic and non-geographic numbers and the best routing approach.

We’ll ensure address/location information is captured where required, and we’ll advise on best practice for multi-site and remote users.

Office Phone Systems & VoIP

Hosted telephony is a phone system delivered from the cloud. You get features like hunt groups, IVR, voicemail-to-email, and apps without on-site PBX hardware.

Yes — most solutions support desk handsets plus softphones on mobile and PC/Mac, with consistent numbers and features.

If your network is suitable, yes. We’ll check bandwidth and stability, and can apply QoS and recommend upgrades or backup connectivity if required.

Yes — we can design call flows (press 1/2/3 menus), queues, hunt groups, and overflow rules aligned to departments and opening hours.

Yes — users can take calls anywhere via apps, with business caller ID, call recording (where enabled), and centralised management.

Where required, yes — subject to configuration and compliance. We can advise on retention, access controls, and user notifications.

In many cases, yes. Integration options depend on the platform and your requirements (click-to-dial, presence, call logs). We’ll confirm feasibility.

Sometimes. Compatibility depends on the handset model and the chosen platform. We can advise whether to re-use or replace.

It’s typically fast — we create a new user/extension, assign an app or handset, and apply the standard profile (groups, voicemail, permissions).

Yes — we can set up failover rules, alternative routing, mobile app continuity, and backup circuits so calls still get answered.

PSTN Switch-Off & All-IP Migration

Yes — many businesses phase by site, department, or service type (voice first, then analogue devices), reducing risk and spreading cost.

Not always, but you do need stable connectivity. We’ll check bandwidth, latency, and resilience and recommend upgrades or backup where needed.

We can audit services, design the target solution, manage connectivity and voice changes, coordinate porting, implement resilience, and support you post-migration.

Check invoices and site comms rooms, and review “small” lines that support lifts/alarms/entry systems. We can help identify and map what’s live.

It varies. A straightforward hosted voice migration can be quick, but uncovering and replacing multiple analogue devices across sites can take longer. We’ll plan it.

Traditional lines often carried power; VoIP typically needs power and internet. We can design battery backup/UPS, resilience, and call failover options.

It’s the retirement of traditional analogue phone services in favour of IP-based services. Businesses need to move voice and any dependent devices to digital alternatives.

Phone lines/ISDN, and any devices relying on analogue lines: alarms, EPOS terminals, lift lines, door entry, fax, PDQ, and some legacy broadband types.

Usually hosted VoIP/cloud telephony, SIP, and/or suitable IP/4G alternatives for specialised devices — chosen based on resilience, compliance, and cost.

Some will need upgrading or an IP/cellular replacement. We’ll help assess each device and recommend a compliant migration route.
